Financial advice built around you

A whole-of-client practice with specialist depth in aged care, and a genuine commitment to understanding what matters most to the people we work with.

Adviser introduction

I began my advice career as an advice assistant and paraplanner just before the Global Financial Crisis. What hooked me wasn’t the products or the technical work, it was seeing what happened when someone’s finances were properly organised for the first time. Small changes, thoughtfully made, that could genuinely change how people lived.

As a young adviser in the Shepparton region, I saw firsthand what good advice could do. One client had spent years quietly struggling to support his wife and disabled daughter on an income that barely stretched far enough. Helping his wife access the Carer Pension changed their lives in ways that went well beyond the financial outcome, and that experience has stayed with me throughout my career.

I then spent more than a decade in senior roles within Private Banking, ultimately becoming Head of Advice Enablement. Those years gave me deep technical expertise and a clear understanding of what separates good advice from great advice, and I’ve seen enough of both over the years to know the difference.

After working at that level, I found myself drawn back to what originally brought me into the profession: working directly with people, understanding their circumstances properly, and helping them navigate complex decisions with confidence.

Aged care became a particular area of specialisation for both professional and personal reasons. Like many families, my close friends and I have navigated the realities of ageing parents, changing care needs and complex systems. I could also see how rapidly changing legislation and Centrelink rules were leaving many people without the guidance they needed during some of the most stressful periods of their lives.

While my experience and technical knowledge have grown significantly over the years, my approach to advice has remained consistent. I want to understand every aspect of a client’s situation before making recommendations. I look carefully for opportunities that may have been overlooked, risks that haven’t been addressed, and strategies that could improve long-term outcomes. My clients receive that same level of care and attention every time.
